Obamacarefree

Say what you want about it, but I think it’s pretty hard to argue with the fact that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act extends parents’ medical insurance’s coverage to their kids up to age 26.  Great for me, as a full-time student who wouldn’t want to try to afford even Stanford’s discounted student healthcare — and great for one of my friends, who’s taking a year off between undergrad and med school (making her ineligible for Stanford’s insurance and unable to afford her own).
